I know, I know…it’s been while since you’ve heard from me.
Tis the season for celebrations, whether they be graduation, babies or weddings…and they’ve all been happening around here.
So one celebration at a time.
Here are the highlights from a baby shower I threw for a friend last spring.
This diaper wreath was the first thing the guests saw as they entered the house.
I made it with a wooden form, diapers attached with ribbon and a painted letter for baby Francis.
The wreath ended up a gift for the mom to adorn baby Francis’ nursery.
Of course with baby girls there has to be pink!
Pink flowers highlighted the gift table and were beautiful.
I couldn’t resist making a congratulatory banner to hang in the bay window.
Fun colors for a fun shower!
It’s always time for polka dot wine glasses and Kate Spade striped napkins!
And for those not drinking wine or daiquiris…there were custom wrapped water bottles with Frances’ name.
I made these by printing the labels and attaching them with clear packaging tape to keep the ink from running.
The center of the food table was this beautiful umbra cake made by Heather Sutton.
The cake was perched upon a cake stand wrapped with netting to look like a little girl’s tutu.
Buttercream frosting…the BEST!!
Sweet little baby Frances slept through most of her party, but she’s a cutie!
Have a wonderful day!
